They pay by total Keystrokes and it was very confusing to figure out but when I did, I figured I would be making less there anyways. I know they also have a transcription school. I was contacted the next day but I need benefits and they are not registered in New York which is where I am so I would have to be an independent contractor. I was assuming it meant that they weren't registered to take taxes out in New York and she had said she put a call into someone to find out if they could become registered (whatever that means!) Supposedly, they could still hire me as an independent contractor. I didn't quite understand what the lady meant by not being registered in New York either.
